Radiohead、Sigur Rosの詩的叙情、The Gloria Record、The Album Leafの透明感、The Appleseed CastやUnwed Sailorのような、沁みる歌と哀愁あるインスト曲を絶妙に配置したこの作品は冷たい心地良さと熱さを相反させ、まるで深い森の中で暑さを避け濃緑の空気を吸いながらも、木々を貫き降り注ぐ「真夏」の太陽の槍を見据えているような眩い生を実感させる。
